support for .hlsl extension?

Great plugin! One issue I have is that DX SDK has a lot of samples in .hlsl files. It'll be great if the plugin can recognize that extension.

Thanks! You are right, i missed that one. I will add the .hlsl as well as .psh and .vsh extensions.

Any idea when this will be added? Is there a way I can force the add-in to recognize .hlsl files as HLSL files?

Sorry for the delay, i'm still busy on another project, but i expect to release a version that will correct this (end of December or in Jan 2010). Anyway, here is a workaround :

a quick fix could be to add a registry entry :
Under 32bits : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\VisualStudio\9.0\Languages\File Extensions
Under 64bits : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\VisualStudio\9.0\Languages\File Extensions
Check for existing ..fx extension and copy the same entry (with subkeys) to your new extension (.hlsl, .vsh, .psh...etc.)

NShader 1.1 solved this issue, adding .hlsl extension by default
